Ownership Benefits

Owners enjoy 6-7 stays per year on average, depending on personal travel preferences. As an owner of a 1/8 share, you will have access to 1/8 of the total time available, holding up to 6 stays at a time. Booked stays can be modified if your plans change, subject to rules and availability. 

Stay Types

The system supports two types of stays: advance and short notice.

Advanced Stay

Advance stays are scheduled 1 month to 24 months in advance and an owner can schedule these stays 6 times a year. Each stay period of 1 to 7 days is considered as an “Advance Stay”. Owners can schedule a maximum of 14 days of stay in a row. The option of scheduling multiple stays across a two year horizon ensures every owner gets to book the days that are most convenient for them. 

Our SeasonAssure ensures all owners have access to their homes during peak seasons. Create lasting memories during the most desirable times of the year. Every owner can hold one booking during a special date at a time; Special Dates are those that fall during national holidays, local events and peak seasons. Our 24-month calendar prevents any one owner from locking in the same holiday year after year, ensuring you always have an opportunity to get the date that matters most to you.

Owners also get priority for 2 of their Personal Dates such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Short Stay

Short-notice stays are booked 2 to 30 days in advance of arrival. Every owner can avail of 3 short stays in a year. Each stay period of 1 to 3 days is considered as a “Short Stay”.

Plans change. Here’s what you need to know about changing your stay or booking consecutive stays:

Modifying an existing stay

If you need to change the dates of a booked stay and the dates are available, you can modify your stay right within the Svazer app. A change of dates would be considered a modification if the new start or end date falls within 7 days of the corresponding start or end date of the existing booking.

Canceling a stay

We aim to maximize available dates, so last-minute cancellations are discouraged. Up to 2 months prior to arrival, you can cancel your stay without concern. Cancellations made less than 2 months before arrival are allowed twice over a 12-month period, with additional late cancellations resulting in penalties. All cancellations notify other owners of newly available dates.

Scheduling FAQs

On average, owners stay at their homes upto 6 to 7 times a year, depending on their personal travel preferences. Ultimately, you decide what dates are most important to you, and your usage may vary from year to year.

Short-notice stays give owners more flexibility to book time in their second homes without having to plan far in advance. Open dates in the Svazer EasyStay app can be booked as short-notice stays 2-30 days ahead of your arrival date. Every owner can avail 3 short stays in a year.

No, owners schedule their stays based on real-time availability; there is no set ranking order to select dates. This gives all owners equal access to dates important to them, regardless of when they purchased their home. The exception being that every owner gets 2 personal dates for which they get priority over others upto 4 months in advance.

No. To ensure ongoing access for all owners, the period between your arrival date and your prior departure must be equal to or greater than the number of nights of your last stay.

Yes. As an owner, you have the option to swap dates with a co-owner of your Svazer second home — right in the Svazer app.

Special dates include select holidays as well as popular local events. They vary for each region, but they are clearly marked in the scheduling calendar in the Svazer app.

Svazer EasyStay is designed to be equitable, and our SeasonAssure guarantees that each owner gets to schedule atleast one special date per share. We recognize you may not always secure your first choice of a special date in a given year (e.g., Christmas), but our 24-month stay calendar gives you the opportunity to request the date in the future.

Owners can book their home from 2 days to 24 months in advance of arrival. For example, if today is October 21, 2024, you can set dates for arrival beginning October 23, 2024, up to and including October 20, 2026.

We ask you to cancel any upcoming stays as soon as your plans change — at least 2 months before arrival. Early cancellations help us to maximize calendar time by opening these new dates to other owners to book. Cancellations made less than 2 months are only allowed twice over a 12-month period without penalty. On the third late cancellation, one available advance stay will be frozen for a period of 30 days.

If a date is shown as available in the calendar, you can instantly secure the stay, and you will see your booked stay dates listed in the Upcoming tab under Stays in the Svazer app.

Standard arrival and departure is noon, but owners can request earlier arrivals and later departures. All efforts will be made to accommodate your requests if the calendar and cleaning schedules permit. You will be notified if this is possible 48 hours prior to your arrival and/or departure.
